January 2017 Reads

Hello everyone! This is the first time i am doing a month reading wrap-up and I’m hoping to do a lot of these this year. January was a pretty good reading month for me. I finished 6 books. All of these were sent to me for review by their author. I have been lately focusing solely on review books as I want to be done with them.

There are only two rules to complete this challenge.

  1. Read 36 books in 2017.

My TBR Jar Tasks Completed In 2016

In the beginning of 2016, I made a post called My Reading More Diversely Jar/ My Ultimate TBR Jar. Basically, I made a list of all the books that I wanted to read and a lot of reading tasks that i wanted to do to make myself try new authors and genres. I cut them into little slips and put them into a jar.

Throughout the year, I took out a slip every few weeks and read that book or completed that task and pasted the slips in my journal after completing them. (more…)

Hello fellow bloggers

How are you all?

So I have posted twice in the last two months. It was mainly because I had exams in September and then my laptop stopped working. Its still not repaired and I am currently writing from a borrowed one. Nevertheless, I’m ready to get back into blogging. I’m still trying to figure out how to balance writing, reading, school and studies but I’m gonna try my best.

I’m currently re-reading A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I’m also listening to Egg and Spoon by Gregory Maguire. I have about 3 hours left of it and I am so ready to finish it.

Also, the realization that there are only 2 months left of this year and our TBRs still haven’t shrunken have made us all make an End Of The Year TBR. Here’s mine: (more…)
