Down The TBR Hole | Sorting Through Goodreads TBR Shelf

Hello everyone. How are you all?

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of people do the ‘Down The TBR Hole’ posts and I decided to give it a try as well. This meme seems really fun and a great way to reduce your TBR and since my Goodreads TBR shelf has about 1,900 books, I think this is a good decision. I’m not sure yet if I’ll do more of these posts but let’s just see how it goes.

This was created by Lost in a Story!

The Rules:`

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?
  • Keep track of where you left off so you can pick up there next week!

Click on the book titles to go to their Goodreads/Amazon page.

Current TBR Shelf Count: 1911

Note: I’m not going through them in any particular order

1. The Petpost Secret by Radhika R. Dhariwal

Date Added: October 22, 2014

The Petpost SecretThe reason I added this book was because I read about it in the newspaper when it came out and it sounded very interesting. I never got around to buying it or saw anyone else I knew reading it so I forgot about it. It has good reviews, still sounds interesting and its pretty cheap.

Verdict: Keep

2. Mostly Madly Mayil by Sowmya Rajendran

Mostly Madly Mayil

Verdict: Keep

Bookish Discovery This Week (Introducing A New Meme)

Hey everyone! My amazing friend Mridula from Ecstatic yet Chaotic came with a great idea for a book meme. We put out heads together and this is what we created:

Name of the meme: Bookish Discovery of this Week

Hosted by: Ecstatic yet Chaotic and Travelling Through Words

Every Thursday, we talk about something new that we discovered which is book related. It can be something that is recently created or discovered or it can be something old that you just discovered or you are interested in. It can be a book you just read or added to your tbr. It can also be an author, genre, poem, story, word, character, a new trend etc. Basically anything that is related to books. You can also share some news or talk about something that caught your eye.

The New Disney Princess Book Tag

I was tagged by the amazing Nadwa @ Painfully Fictional to do this tag. You all should definitely check out her blog if you haven’t already.

I’m not a huge Disney fan. I love most of the movies and shows I have watched from them but I haven’t watched many of the princesses movies. Nevertheless, this is a fun tag and I’m gonna do it as I liked the questions.                                                                                      Continue reading “The New Disney Princess Book Tag”
